Patricia Azan-Clavelo is a portrait artist who majored in Illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology/State University of new York. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Arts in 1985. She worked after graduation in various advertising agencies and for children's wear design lines such as Turner Advertising and Colonial Sportswear. She finally found her niche in the Visual Display World. Her Illustrations became the center pieces gracing the window shops all over New York's Tri-state Area"s Cohen's Fashion Opticals and High Fashion Costume French Jewelry Reminiscence stores called then Zoe Coste, She worked in the field for over a decade but then found herself wanting to explore other art forms such as  dancing, singing, and Acting. She dedicated a lot of her time to the Acting which also seemed a major calling for her. Today after a long extensive acting career on the Miami stage after having done plays from re-known authors such as Lorca, Arrabal, Vargas-Llosa, Cervantes, Virgilio Pinera and new authors such as Nilo Cruz and Frank Quintana.

She now does Commercials some  TV and film. She also does voice over work for 2 studios in Miami for  shows such as Nurse Jackie, L-word, Fairly Odd Parents and SouthPark where she does both the voices of Eric Cartman and Kyle in Spanish. She also found herself back in the Fashion Display World, but now merchandising for a major international watch company where she represents many of their lines in south Florida, this full time job and taking care of her baby girl had put illustration once again in the back burner. But now since her little girl is becoming a tween she again found her way back into it. She is currently working on the illustrations for 3 children's book stories written by her but inspired by her daughter Katherine and is doing portraits for friends and family which has now become her Working Mommy Home Business. Patricia loves doing children's portraits and capturing a special moment or look in their life! These portraits make great presents for Mom's, Grandma's, Birthday's, graduations...etc..They are done in Graphite Pencil and colored pencils although she also does portraits in Pastels.  To order please click on any of her samples below.
